My oldest son is home from the service for Christmas! I also have all my children here at home for the holidays! I wanted to share with all of you a POWERFUL video that I received from a friend. As a teacher I often find myself in positions where I have to hold my tongue because what I want to say isn't "legal" for me to do so. This video is on you tube...please type in "this should keep us all thinking" in you tube's search bar. The first video that comes up, and is 5:30 long, is the one. It is about a professor who attempts to discredit Jesus in his classes. As I was watching all I could think about was how powerful this would be if it were shown on the big screens at church one Sunday. It is impossible to see this video and not walk away in awe of God and his choices as to when he shows himself! I hope you find it as wonderful as I did. Thanks, Leslie

The musicians, actors and crew did a great job this past weekend. They are definitely gifted by God to be able to do such an outstanding job. So I am curious how the inclusion of Santa and Frosty go along with the heart for Christ at Christmas that I feel in this message and that was portrayed in the play and many songs from the Festival? I am so sad to see so many churches think that if they include the world's obsessions in the message to them that they can hear us more clearly about Christ's importance to us and for them. Christ did not call us to become like them but to be different. I believe that the difference is what will draw men to Christ, not the joining in with the big game.

This Christmas, it's all about worship for me. I'm finding myself drawn to Christmas music that engages me in worshipping, in contemplating the tremendous sacrifice of the God of Heaven to strip Himself of His glory for ME. What an awesome thought. Thanks for posting this.

We are trying to be more receptive to each other's needs. Many times we just get so busy in our own business that we overlook our spouse that we live with. We just know they are there but we don't really recognize the significance of their walk with us. The support that we receive from our loved ones is the fuel for our fire. You could say it is the spark that starts that fire. So glad that God gave us two a second chance at that great, marvelous love that really grows with Jesus in the center of the relationship.

Seems like this is a little like what is happening with Tanna. We feel like we have knows them for about 20 years since they are about the first ones that Dawn met when she first started going to a church here in TX. Randy and her were first married and they really needed someone to befriend them. It is amazing that their friendship has lasted all these years. Most just fade away. So much in common. Even with the boys being about the same ages. Anyway, I have learned so much from Tanna this past year and I know that she has touched many lives. I pray that people will be able to God give her the healing that he has for her. It might not be our way of healing but He does know best.
